Darrel James comfortably won Woodford Golf Club’s January Medal on Saturday.
The 11-handicap player scored 41 stableford points, well ahead of the March medal winner Rob Ellis (handicap 9) on 35 points, with Mark Deeming (handicap 6) three more points adrift in third place.
Michael Cutter, who plays off 21, won the Division Two prize with 41 points. Runner-up was Alan Pickett (28 handicap) on 38 points with Neil Robinson (27 handicap) third, one point further behind.
