Leyton Orient manager Fabio Liverani has admitted he wants to bring in another midfielder to help their battle against relegation.

The emergency loan window shuts at 5pm on Thursday and the O's face a shortage in midfield over the next couple of weeks.

Jobi McAnuff is away with Jamaica and will miss this weekend's home game with Port Vale while Wales Under-21 winger Ryan Hedges is out of the trip to Coventry on Wednesday, April 1. Orient are also without Romain Vincelot for the rest of the season after he damaged medial ligaments earlier this month.

Speaking after Saturday's defeat at Crawley Town, Liverani said: "We are looking to bring maybe one more player in midfield because we don't have many players there.

"But we also have to identify players with the right quality that are good for us. It's not easy to do that but hopefully we'll bring in one player in to improve the level of the squad."
