The East London Boxing Academy boxers were given a rare opportunity to showcase their boxing skills on live television on Thursday.

Academy head coach Umer Ali Iqbal organised the event via England Boxing, who arranged for the club members to demonstrate their boxing skills as part of the opening to the World Series Boxing event between the British Lionhearts and Morocco on BT Sport.

The East London Boxing Academy boxers got to meet the England boxers, many of whom will be boxing in the 2016 Olympic games in Rio 2016.

The academy was chosen for the event due to its rapid growth during the last boxing season, highlighted by having four London champions from a range of ages.
