Leyton Orient Under-18s lost their unbeaten Merit League Two record this season after a 2-1 home defeat to Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
The opening goal came in the 31st minute when Laurent Davies-Wilson picked up the ball in the area and drilled a shot past O’s goalkeeper Ben Card.
The visitors quickly doubled their lead when Davies-Wilson ran onto a pass from Tom Fry and fired home.
Orient responded and pulled one back before the break. Louis Ezewele brought down Scott Kashket in the area and Freddy Moncur sent the goalkeeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.
But the O’s could not find an equaliser as their four-match winning run ended. It means Bristol Rovers leapfrogged them to the top of the table.
