Eton Manor are still within two points of London League One North leaders Colchester following a 32-0 thrashing of Luton on Saturday.

Reece Reed put Manor ahead after just three minutes, collecting the ball from the base of the scrum and darting over to make it 5-0.

The lead was soon stretched, Tryson Godchild picking and driving over the line and Callum McKie adding the extras.

With 22 minutes played Michael Eghan demonstrated his devastating pace, running in from 30 metres to make it 17-0 before McKie kicked the extras.

A McKie penalty enhanced Manor’s lead and although John Robinson was sin-binned, the visitors added another five points when debutant Jack Pike crossed.

And Pike played a part in the away side’s fifth try by harrying the home defence in a mistake, allowing Reid to feed Ben Lockyer, who in turn passed to Peter Bicknell to go over.

The conversion went wide but with with 18 second-half minutes played, Manor had wrapped up a resounding win.

Elsehwere in League One North, Chingford eased to a 16-8 win over Letchworth Garden City, whilst basement-dwellers Woodford lost 69-5 to Old Priorians.

In London Three North East, meanwhile, Wanstead lost 15-6 at Cantabrigian.
