West Ham United are one of a number of clubs who are interested in signing former Leicester City and Internazionale midfielder Esteban Cambiasso, according to the Daily Mail.

The Argentine opted against signing a new contract with the Foxes after just one season at the King Power Stadium, where he made 33 appearances, scoring five times.

The veteran was an instant hit with Leicester and proved to be influential in the Foxes’ battle against relegation. He was voted as the club’s Player of the Season in May.

But after leaving Leicester, the Hammers are understood to be one of a number of clubs to have expressed an interest in his services.

It is thought the Argentine also has offers from Belgian side Anderlecht and MLS.
