League Two leaders Leyton Orient put their 100 per cent record on the line tomorrow at Newport County.

Ian Hendon's side have made a superb start to the season with wins in their opening three games sending them top of the table.

The O’s should have a fully fit squad available for this weekend's trip to Newport County in the first competitive game between the clubs. Terry Butcher’s side are still looking for their first win after taking just one point from three games.

Hendon said: “We know Newport are a young side but had a good result against Stevenage last weekend. They made it difficult and nearly won the game. They’ve only just been beaten 1-0 by Hartlepool tonight so it’s going to be a tough game.”

Blair Turgott and Ollie Palmer enhanced their claims for a place in the side after both scored in Tuesday's win over Stevenage.

Hendon has named the same team for all three league games this season but he is pleased his substitutes are pushing for a starting spot.

He said: "I've said that everyone's champing at the bit to try to get involved and be in the team. When the subs come on and do that they start to give you a little bit of a headache for selection for Saturday.

"That's exactly what I want and all the lads in there, no matter what team goes out, will all support each other and we all want the same thing so competition's good."
