Wycombe Wanderers have signed Scott Kashket on a short-term deal.
The 20-year-old joins the Adams Park club until December 31st after being released by Leyton Orient earlier in the day.
The attacker who can play in a number of positions across the front line joins to help ease Wanderers’ growing injury concerns, with seven first team players currently out.
Ainsworth said: “Scott has been on our radar for a while and now is the ideal time to bring him in, with a number of midfield and attacking players out injured.
“He’s quick, skilful and gets into the right areas, and he’s also capable of playing in a number of different positions which will be important for us.
“We’re light on numbers which means Scott will get his opportunities to impress us and hopefully earn a longer deal here.”
Kashket earned his first professional deal with Orient in October 2014 and has also spent time playing with Spanish side Hercules and non-league team Wingate & Finchley.
He finished last season on loan with Welling United before being allowed to leave Brisbane Road on a free transfer, after making 22 appearances for the O’s.
