Alvaro Arbeloa has signed a one-year-deal on a free transfer to join West Ham United on transfer deadline day.
The world cup winner will provide needed assistance at right-back and will likely mentor Sam Byram.
The 33-year-old won the 2010 World Cup and two UEFA Euro titles with Spain.
