West Ham United have seen an improved £5m bid for Robert Snodgrass rejected by Hull City, reports claim.
A £3m offer was turned down by the KC Stadium club on Friday and Tigers boss Marcos Silva, who was appointed manager last Thursday, has stressed his desire to retain the 29-year-old.
The Scottish international turned down Hull’s offer of a new contract in December and has 18 months remaining on his current deal after the club activated a one-year extension option.
Snodgrass has been Hull’s standout performer this season and has 12 goals in 27 appearances, despite his side’s ongoing battle against relegation.
