Simone Zaza has joined Valencia on loan until the end of the season, ending his short-lived stay at West Ham United.
The Italian international has endured a torrid time at West Ham since moving to the London Stadium club on loan in the summer.
He has struggled to cement himself in the Hammers’ starting XI and failed to score in 11 appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side.
West Ham would have had to sign Zaza permanently had he played 14 times for the club, but were understandably eager to avoid doing so considering his abject form.
Valencia will be obliged to pay £14m to sign the 25-year-old provided he plays 10 times and they are not relegated from La Liga.
