Leyton Orient's prospective buyer will not give up their pursuit to purchase the club unless they are told it is not for sale, the East London Guardian Series understands.
The E10 club were contacted for a third time last night regarding a potential takeover but are still yet to respond to the unnamed American company.
The company have made two approaches after it was claimed they were contacted by Orient CEO Alessandro Angelieri last week. The most recent of those was put forward on Sunday night.
Owner Francesco Becchetti put the club up for sale in January and it is believed he wants to recoup the £4million he initially paid to Barry Hearn before he will relinquish his position.
