Leyton Orient's Fans Trust 'fighting fund' has reached £100,000 in over 11 days since it was launched.

The fund will be used to help the O's in whatever case it need be whether that be in order to help find a new owner, administration or a phoenix club.

On Saturday at the O's 3-0 loss to Grimsby Town at the Matchroom Stadium, more than £13,000 was raised from both sets of fans by bucket collectors.

Orient were served a winding up petition by HMRC on Wednesday, March 1 over owner Francesco Becchetti's unpaid tax bill reported to be around £125-250k.

It was the latest news in a long line of turmoil in the two half-years since the Italian bought the club.

When he bought the club from former owner Barry Hearn in 2014 for £4m, the O's were one spot kick away from the Championship.

Since then, there has been nine managerial changes, a fan protest and a six-match ban for the president after kicking then assistant manager Andy Hessenthaler.

At the latest LOFT meeting on Monday, the committee has suggested if no representation turns up from the club they will try and go for an adjournment.

However, they also admitted they have plans in place for every eventuality.

Kevin Lisbie's match worn Somme shirt sold last night for £375 and Orient Outlook Podcast are now auctioning Hull City's Moses Odubajo signed shirt.

Dean Cox has also sent signed football boots to the Fans Trust and Preston North End have also sent in a signed shirt.
