Atlantic, established in 1998, is evolving into a major provider of accommodation, construction and regeneration services to the community.

The ethos underpinning the company is building with a conscience, for future generations. By offering value for money and a transparent approach, its client base expands across eight local authorities in London.

Development director George Leonidas explains the firm’s direction: “With the Mayor of London’s vision of housing in mind, Atlantic has commenced its £10 million construction programme in Waltham Forest.

“By offering a wide selection of accommodation we are able to satisfy a broad spectrum of the market.

“Our flagship purchase is the landmark Bull & Crown public house building in North Chingford. We have some exciting ideas for this site and are currently in discussions with the planning department.

“Our approach is simply treat every customer as if they are our only customer.

“Working with the community is key, and our plans include building a 50-metre pool for the community. Having sponsored the borough’s swimming club (Waltham Forest Gators), we quickly realised that the borough is in dire need of an Olympic-size pool to match the ability and enthusiasm of the club’s members. We are mindful of the long term viability of our proposal, and eagerly await the local authority’s views.

“Our property management portfolio consists of more than 1,000 properties, offering landlords a broad range of packages. The housing market is fragile and landlords need to secure their rental income in order to overcome this current financial turmoil.

“The government’s drive to reduce the number of homeless families is at the forefront of Atlantic’s agenda, and we are developing innovative schemes and packages for landlords with the local authority housing departments.

“By doing so, we offer peace of mind to the landlord and provide suitable, sustainable homes for the occupants.

“We don’t provide properties, we provide homes. Our vision of the future is bright. In just over two years we will be hosts to the world; our borough will be on the world stage. We are proud and fortunate to work here.”
