A two-day extravaganza of music, art, theatre and dance is set to take place as Walthamstow Garden Party kicks off. Showcasing international and local artists including soul pioneers Brand New Heavies and Ivory Coast’s reggae powerhouse Tiken Jah Fakoly, there will be a theatre and dance stage, pop-up performances and interactive fun taking place across the park. Enjoy refreshments from the Real Food Festival before taking time to browse the Useful and Beautiful Craft Marquee and E17 Designers Market showcasing local designs.

2. Walthamstow Acoustic Massive, an umbrella for acoustic music groups (banjo, ukulele, violin) with students from 18 to 80, will take to the Barbican Music Stage on Saturday. Massive!
