The King William IV pub is classy but not pompous, stylish but not excessively lavish.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the table layout is spot on. Like most gastropubs, the King William has lots of mouthwatering fired pizzas, steaks and pastas, but there were other options -my fish of the day, sea bass with mash and greens, was divine.
The pub models itself on having a "passion for excellent food" and they're not wrong. The King William IV is a two minute walk from Chigwell Underground station and has plenty of free parking.
