The White Hart in Moreton will leave you running out of superlatives. Although it may seem a little out of the way, the experience of superb food in such a comfortable setting is all worth it.

Not many places can carry off an old-style setting with stylish furniture but this is one pub that does. With typically low ceilings, the atmosphere is intimate but not squashed.

On offer is a range of food from la carte, mostly made from local produce in the evenings to a traditional Sunday-roast. It also boasts a mouth-watering lunch menu and an extensive wine list.

The pub is quite frankly, a joy. Not only is it a massive hit with the locals, it has also become a much spoken-about country venue to mark any occasion.
