Business World Magazine once wrote of the Ark that the fish it served is not only the best in London, in England, and in Europe but it is probably the best in the world.' The venue itself has a cool modern look and manages to be smart without being over designery.

The smoked salmon was not only well-presented but without doubt some of the most beautiful I'd ever tasted.

A total bill of £52.40 for two was most certainly good value for money for the freshness of fish as well as a nicely chilled bottle of wine.

The Ark is a ten minute walk from Snaresbrook Tube station and offers off street parking, although the car park maybe full if the venue is busy.
