Food glorious food will be in plentiful supply in Essex this weekend, as the Essex Festival of Food and Drink makes a highly anticipated return.
The event, which is bigger and better than ever before, is, as you might have guessed, all about food and drink – from tasting to learning, participating and sampling.
Paul Hollywood, pictured, from The Great British Bake Off, will be demonstrating at the festival on Saturday, judging baking competitions and participating in book signings. Meanwhile on Sunday, acclaimed British Masterchef Mark Baumann, of Baumann’s Brasserie, Coggeshall will take to the main cookery theatre stage.
There will also be cookery theatres where you can watch, taste and learn from the experts, an outdoor food court and kids’ cookery classes.
