A night of dudeness and debauchery dedicated to the cult slacker film by the Coen Brothers, set, appropriately enough in a bowling alley.
DJs Diddy Wah and Otis Waby spin retro tunes, Itchy Teeth, Jessie Pie and The Thorn play live Americana, blues and country and there’ll be various competitions including a Big Lebowski themed fancy dress contest.
As well as screening the classic film itself, the Bloomsbury’s cinema will also be showing a range of other Coen Brothers’ flicks such as True Grit and No Country For Old Men. The Dude abides.
Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, Basement of Tavistock Hotel, Bedford Way, WC1, Saturday, March 22. Details: 020 7183 1979, bloomsburybowling.com
