What has the reaction been like to your new collection?

Fantastic! It’s gone down really, really well. Everyone who has seen the collection has been absolutely blown away by it.

What can we expect to see in the new collection?

This is my fourth season and this collection is my best yet. I started by creating a small eight-piece collection, now I’ve got 30 pieces. This one is really bright, really colourful, very much my kind of style, with lots of lace and crochet. I’m branching into different areas and experimenting with new fashion.

Is that a reaction to some of the other TOWIE stars who have created their own fashion collections?

When I left TOWIE it was because I wanted to build this as a full time career, to become a designer. This isn’t a celebrity brand in the traditional sense, I’m very involved with process. I want to be taken seriously as a designer. .

Is it a constant battle for you, to step away from the celebrity side?

I’m so lucky I am a celebrity, because if I wasn’t I don’t think I would’ve become so big, so quickly. I’ve also been able to get lots of other celebrities (Denise Van Outen, Lucy (from TOWIE), Danielle Lloyd) to wear my stuff too.

How long have you wanted to be a designer for?

Since I can remember. My mum used to be a buyer for Gloria Vanderbilt, my nan and my aunt were also designers, my family used to own boutiques in east London, so for me fashion was always in my blood.

What is your style like?

Girly, feminine, sophisticated (hopefully!) and timeless.

Whose career do you admire most?

Victoria Beckham. If I had a fraction of her success, I’d be a very happy lady.

Would you be hoping to bag a footballer too?

No, it’s not about occupation for me, it’s about meeting someone who makes me happy.

What’s your favourite piece from your collection?

The Kirsty dress. But I love some of my shirt dresses too.

Biggest fashion faux pas?

Had to be at the military awards . I wore this dress embellished around the shoulders and crotch. All the press picked it up and said it looked like a vajazzle.

Do you miss TOWIE?

I miss being around my friends all the time and the crew and stuff, but I think I made the right decision.

What was the worst part of being on the show?

Going through a break-up is pretty hard already, but doing that on the show, made it harder.

Do you think your relationship with Arg (James Argent) would’ve gone the distance if you’d not been on the show?

I don’t think it would’ve. The whole reason we split up was because I was cheated on. If someone has that in them, it doesn’t matter what comes your way, if you can cheat, you will cheat.

Would you ever try and distance yourself from TOWIE?

No, TOWIE made me. I’ve got no regrets. I’m happy with how I was perceived, it was a great experience.

What did you think of Joey’s stint in the jungle?

Fantastic! I can’t believe he didn’t win.

Would you ever sign up for another reality show?

I would never say no to any other reality show. I am what I am, because of reality television.
