Celebrate the extraordinary creative talent of one of the most innovative designers of recent times at Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.

It will be the first and largest retrospective of McQueen’s work to be presented in Europe.

The exhibition will showcase McQueen’s visionary work, and spans his 1992 MA graduate collection to his unfinished autumn/winter collection from 2010.

His designs will be presented with the dramatic staging and sense of spectacle that are synonymous with his runway shows.

The exhibtion is coming to London, where McQueen lived and worked, to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the world famous designer's death (February 11, 2010).

The original version of this exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2011 was organised by the Costume Institute and became one of the museum’s top ten most visited exhibitions. Anticipating a similar public response in London, the Victoria and Albert Museum has already extended the exhibition for two weeks, so it now runs until August.

Thirty thousand advance tickets have already been sold – a record for the V&A, but don’t worry, you’ll still be able to get tickets on the day. This is one exhibition you definitely don’t want to miss.
