Epping Forest District Museum is on the hunt for First World War artifacts for a heritage event in Ongar.

Bring along any objects linking the district with the war and share your memories, and the museum team will record these.

A selection of objects will  be chosen for display in the Epping Forest District Council Civic Offices.

Visitors will be able to catch up on the latest news about the museum’s redevelopment project, and see an exhibition by Ongar Millennium History Society.

There will also be a craft activity for children to make their own First World War medals.

Budworth Hall, Ongar, Saturday, June 21, 10.30am to 3.30pm. Details: 01992 716882 museum@eppingforestdc.gov.uk.
