Enfield-born singer S.E.L (Soulful Emma Louise) has teamed up with producer, songwriter and bassist Fugi Roc to release a new single.
Dangerous is out now and is a modern take on a raw soulful-styled sound, with a nod to the old skool garage.
It already reached number 13 in the UK’s urban chart in October on the back of pre-orders of the track.
Full name Emma Louise Bucknor, the Tottenham songstresses has been described as ‘incredible’ by Jazz FM.
She has toured as lead vocalist with Soul II Soul and worked with Alicia Keys, Omar, Debbie Harry and Duncan James to name but a few.
Her début single Necessary, become a hit among major UK radio stations in 2010 including the BBC, Smooth FM, Magic FM, Jazz FM, Colourful Radio, Choice FM and Kiss FM.
Her follow-up single Daydream reached number 4 in the jazz charts and received worldwide airplay.
Her latest partner in music Fugi Roc, aka Chris Brown, is one of the most talented bass players working in the UK and spent years touring as a member of Kylie Minogue’s backing band.
The duo have already recorded a follow-up track together, Messy, and are working together on Emma’s début album.
