Pixies, Metronomy, Thurston Moore, The Horrors, and Neneh Cherry are among the acts set to perform at this year’s Field Day.

The eclectic festival is taking place over two days for the first time since its launch in 2007, and will be held in east London’s Victoria Park on June 7 and 8.

Burgess Hill quartet Lovepark, psychedelic trio The Wytches and synthpop group Future Islands are set to appear on Sunday, alongside Pixies (performing their only London show in 2014), The Horrors, Temples, POND, Drenge, Telegram, Shy Nature, Childhood and The Bohicas.

Pixies are set to release Indie Cindy, their first studio album since 1991’s Trompe Le Monde, on April 28, which makes the performance of new songs at the festival a possibility.
