Going batty

Spend some time in the fresh air this weekend, with two events taking place in the Lee Valley Regional Park.

On Saturday, join Roger Havard and the Friends of Tottenham Marshes for an evening devoted to bats. There will be a short talk followed by a walk to look out for Pipistrelles and Daubentons.

Then, on Sunday morning, there will be a leisurely paced walk in the 1,000 acre River Lee Country Park near Waltham Abbey, which will focus on birds and birdsong.

Meet in Fishers Green Car Park, Stubbins Hall Lane, Waltham Abbey. Sunday, May 2, 10.30am-12.30pm
