AN ART show which defies gravity is about to hit the launch-pad in the London's East End.

Andrew McAttee's much anticipated riotous new solo show Anti-Gravity takes off at the Forster Gallery, Rivington Street. The exhibition delicately balances dreamy otherworldly landscapes with McAtee's trademark psychedelic palette in vast pop art canvases. McAttee's comic-strip pop art landscapes burst forth with abstract shapes and intense colours, demonstrating street art sensibilities like blended colour and line, imbuing his work with a distinctive graffiti aesthetic.

His work draws on a wide range of sources including other graffiti art, comic book graphics, pop art and abstract expressionism.

The display is at the Forster Gallery, Rivington Street, 1 Chapel Place, Rivington Street.
