PREPARE your oxygen packs, step into your space suit, activate your light sabres and get ready to face the Force.

Warning - you have only eight Earth days left in which to save humanity from the alien powers of Darth Vader and his army of stormtroopers who have invaded County Hall.

More than three decades after it was first shown to an unsuspecting audience, Star Wars is still conquering audiences and gaining fans both young and old.

Fans who have dreamed of helping Luke Skywalker and his robotic droids save Princess Leia, can get up close and personal to them at Star Wars: The Exhibition.

As well as having the opportunity to take a good look at some of the equipment used by Han Solo and the Jedi Knights, visitors can become involved in the action.

The Star Wars: The Exhibition features an array of items specially selected from the Lucas film archives in California that give visitors a rare glimpse inside the making of the epic movies. Also featured is the spectacular life-size Naboo N-1 Starfighter, in addition to several interactive activities including a green-screen simulation that puts them right into the films.

As well as enjoying the interactive elements, youngsters can take their first steps towards discovering how to help save the world from inter-galatic domination at the Jedi Knight training school.

The 30,000 sq. ft.exhibition features a number of original film props, models, art, vehicles and costumes from the entire Star Wars Saga, showcasing the artistry and storytelling that have made the films some of the most popular in history.

The epic space adventure first played to audiences in the USA on 25 May 1977, but wasn't screened in the UK until December 27 1977, when Star Wars opened in the West End's Dominion Theatre.

What has been hailed as the world's most popular movie saga celebrated its 30th earlier this year and fans from around the globe flocked to the London exhibition. Visitors should be careful where they go and what they do because Stormtroopers, Jedi's, aliens, plus a number of other characters from the films will be rubbing metal shoulders with them.

But the Star Wars:The Exhibition, must end on January 13 as the Dark Lord and his henchman are about be transported to the far of galaxy that is Belgium.
