LYON have revealed that Arsenal have made an enquiry for midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa.

The French champions' president Jean-Michel Aulas claimed the Gunners have made an approach after strong interest from Arsene Wenger.

"There is also interest from two English clubs, notably Arsenal."

Marseilles midfielder Samir Nasri is reported to be Arsenal's number one target, but there has also been various reports linking Ben Arfa with a move to the Emirates.

Lmao @ Arsenal trying to sign 2 muslim players and somebody having the comic timing to say what Arsenal need is Jesus. I'm guessing Jesus (hey-zeus) is some Mexican player, but thats ok, he's not needed, the only mexican we need is Carlos Vela, the boys joining the squad this coming season!

Wenger should not let Hleb go but also try and sign barfa and Vela to make Arsenal strong for next season.

Hope WEnger buys Arfa and Nasri and makes a killing on Hleb. Funny he hates big cities but is looking for a move to Milan or Madrid. P.S. God botherers stick to knocking on doors on a saturday morning!

i think arsenal should go for ben because he is a verry good player he better than nasri if wenger goes for both then arsenal will be stronge and that could lead arsenal winning cups i think arsenal only need them 2 players two help them win cups they might need get new goalkeeper. i hope wenger goes for both they will help and arsenal will win cups with them.

I don't think many of you have ever even seen samri or ben-arfa play.
you are talking about who is better, but they are two very different players and neither is a fully developed player, i think that is why wenger is trying to buy at least one of them, so he can make new pires and create a team like invincibles from few years back.
Wenger knows, complete trust in him, if he leaves arsenal, we will be competing for places with blackburn and portsmouth with amount of money on disposal, great ability to make team of young and unknown players, who ever doubts his ability is an idiot

I think ben arfa is a good player.Arsenal require left wing midfielder. I think Wenger must to buy Benzema or other strikers who has good finishing and 3 best back players and 1 defensive midfielder.
