Spurs could beat Newcastle to Turkish winger
Arda Turan
Arda Turan

SPURS may swoop for Turkish star Arda Turan after Newcastle United stalled over a £13million move for the Galatasaray winger.

Kevin Keegan is thought to have been put off by the Turks' high asking price, but Tottenham could hijack the deal if they are willing to cough up the cash.

Turan, 21, is a product of Galatasaray's youth system and has earned rave reviews in his homeland through his ability to beat defenders and also has a knack for scoring, finding the net 20 times in just 61 appearances for the Turkish Super League outfit.

With Juande Ramos keen to add width to his attack, Turan - a genuine winger - could prove to be an attractive option.

Kevin Keegan has no say in what he pays for a player thats down to other people at newcastle.Keegan tells them who he's interested in end of.So please do some research before spouting drivel.

Spurs without doubt will be monitoring his situation, as will most big clubs in europe. Which is why I can't see him signing for us (spurs) or newcastle. +Also having Dennis Wise as your DoF is probably why you are failing to nail down any of your targets. Just a thought
