PROMISING keeper Marek Stech has sealed his long-term future at West Ham by signing a bumper five-year contract.

The highly-rated Czech Republic youth international, who has spent the last two years with the Hammers' youth academy, is tipped to be the next big thing at the club.

He is set to play understudy to first-choice number one Robert Green next season.

"I am really pleased with the new contract," the 18-year-old told the club's official website.

"I am looking forward to the season - it is great for me and a good opportunity.

"The aim is to get in the first team. We have just started back training and I have to work hard and push the other goalkeepers."
