A DEAD body was discovered in woodland.
A jogger made the find in an area off Golding's Hill in Loughton near the Wake Arms roundabout just after noon today (Sunday November 11).
A police spokeswoman said it is believed to be that of a 50-year-old man from the Enfield area.
She added: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner".
Part of the woodland has been closed off by police but surrounding roads remain open.
