HUNDREDS of Rod Stewart fans are queuing down a high street, hoping to get their copies of the rock star’s biography signed.
About 300 people, some dressed in tartan to reflect Stewart’s Scottish heritage, have turned up to the signing at Epping Bookshop, close to the Copped Hall Estate, near Epping, where he lives.
His wife, model Penny Lancaster, also appeared at the event earlier today.
He said: "I really wanted to do something for our local bookshop.
"Penny often pops in to buy books for the boys (Alastair and Aiden).
"It's nice to support independent shops, too."
