Teenage boy taken to hospital after collision with car

A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital last night after a collision with a car.

The incident happened at around 6pm last night in Barkingside High Street and involved a black Volkswagon Fox.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene at 6.10pm.

A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said: "We treated a 16-year-old boy for minor injuries and took the patient as a priority to Whipps Cross Hospital."

No arrests were made.

No further details of the incident or the condition of the boy have been released.
