ITEMS of jewellery found in a stolen car have yet to be returned to their owner.

Redbridge Police fear the five items, a mixture of rings, earrings and bracelets, were taken in an unreported burglary after a silver BMW Series 3 was stolen from an address in Monkhams Drive, Woodford Green on August 16.

The car was recovered in Castle Avenue, Highams Park on November 10 with the items found on the back seat in a pillowcase.

The police are keen to locate the owner of the jewellery or anyone who thinks they may know where the items have come from.
