Wanstead Festival to return to September date next year
THE Wanstead Festival will come back next year to its familiar September date.
The festival on Christchurch Green was moved this year to coincide with the Olympics closing ceremony on August 12 to capture some of the Olympic feel-good factor.
But the festival, which is visited by people of all ages, will return on September 15 2013 and will run from 11am to 5pm.
The festival will be funded with £10,000 from the Area One Committee.
