A new networking group had its first meeting of the year this week.

The Link4Growth meeting took place at the Marriott Hotel in Waltham Abbey on Wednesday morning and involved 20 people from businesses, local authorities and education, who discussed how to develop the economy in the area.

The meeting was part of a national movement that aims to link businesses, community groups and public bodies.

Organiser Paul Violet said: “It’s been an encouraging start in this new area, and Waltham Abbey is set to be a major contributor to the aims of Link4Growth nationally.”

hot dog says...

Seriously what good can a group of old people do to help the plight of Waltham Abbey. If the best idea they can come up with is make a dvd well that says it all the Dvd is going the way of the gramophone! The local people must break this web of elderly residents making so many wrong decisons about the town as it will affect future generations for ever!
