Anyone who wants to attend a public consultation meeting on proposed changes to policing in Redbridge needs to register.

The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) recently published draft plans aimed at saving £500million from the Met's budget by 2015.

Both Wanstead and Woodford police stations have been earmarked for closure under the proposals.

Stephen Greenhalgh, Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime in London, will attend a public consultation meeting to discuss the plans at Redbridge Town Hall on February 11.
