Free food on offer at church café

A new café for needy members of the community has opened.

The Sacraments Café is run by the Sacraments Church at Ilford Catholic club in High Road, Ilford, every Wednesday from 2pm-5.30pm.

Visitors can enjoy free sandwiches and hot drinks and take away food boxes.

Pastor David K. Sadiq of the Sacraments Church, said: “The Sacraments Church is working together with families in the community of Redbridge to alleviate poverty and restore dignity to the less privileged.”
