A 16-year-old boy was robbed of his phone at knifepoint by two boys on mountain bikes.

The incident happened in a car park in Foremark Close, Hainault at 5pm last Saturday.

The teenager was standing with his friend when they were approached by two boys on bikes.

One of them threatened the victim with a penknife before searching him and stealing a Blackberry phone.

He then attempted to search the teen’s friend but was pushed away.

Both suspects then rode off in the direction of Manford Way.

The first suspect has a distinctive hare lip scar on his top lip.

He is described as between 16-17, of mixed race with a medium build.

He wore a black and blue puffer jacket with a diagonal stripe pattern and was riding a mountain bike.

The second suspect is described as a skinny 15-year-old of Somali appearance.

He wore a blue hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms and was riding a black mountain bike.
