A company that prints bank notes in the district is marking its 200th anniversary.
De La Rue, which runs the former Bank of England press works in Debden, was founded in 1813 in Guernsey by printer Thomas de la Rue and its first major project was printing a uniform ace of spades playing card.
The printing press in Langston Road has produced all Bank of England notes for the past 50 years.
