The prime minister’s wife has helped fund three new minibuses for a respite centre for people with disabilities.
Samantha Cameron hosted a fundraising gala in November to raise money for the buses, which will be used for outings for guests at Vitalise Jubilee Lodge in Chigwell.
Chris Simmonds, chief executive officer at the charity in Grange Farm, off Chigwell High Road, said: “The new minibuses will enable Jubilee Lodge to give its guests the opportunity to experience the best this beautiful region has to offer.”
