A group of teenagers have organised a talent show to raise money for the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group charity.
Four 16 year-old pupils at Harold Business and Enterprise Academy in Waltham Abbey came up with the idea after they won a school competition.
One of the young business minds behind the idea, Luke Woodall, said that he and his friends decided that they would like to host an event with children, for children, which is why they chose the cancer charity.
He said: “Because the charity is for children we felt that children should be involved so we got in touch with three local primary schools.
“We are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for them.”
The three schools taking part in the event are Waltham Holy Cross, Leverton Junior School and Upshire Primary Foundation School.
Acts from the 8-10 year-olds will include a martial arts display, singing and dancing acts and there will also be a guest magician.
The talent show will take place on February 13, and will begin at 4:30pm. Tickets are £3 each and can be purchased from any of the schools taking part.
