Police are investigating the death of a 47-year-old man at a home in Walthamstow, but say they are not treating it as suspicious.
Officers were called to the property in Copeland Road, near the Bakers Arms junction, by the London Ambulance Service at 9.30am on Saturday.
His body was found inside.
Residents became alarmed when the road was taped off by police shortly after the discovery.
But a Met spokesman said: "We are treating the death as non-suspicious.
"Enquiries continue."
