A horse riding champion will visit youngsters learning equestrian skills on a new course aimed at all abilities.

Shelley Perham, who has won the multi-discipline Horse of the Year Show a record five times, is due to talk to children having riding lessons Woodredon Equestrian Centre in Waltham Abbey as part of the Epping Forest Inclusion Project for children with disabilities.

Organiser Olivia Worsfold said: “The uptake for the horse riding has been fantastic.

“To have a waiting list after just two weeks proved there was a need to add a second session.

“The staff at Woodredon Equestrian Centre are fantastic and we can’t thank them enough for how supportive they’ve been of the project.”
