A man who died at the scene of a car crash on an A-road has been named by police.
Matthew Parkinson, 37, was killed at the scene of the crash on the A414 in Ongar Road, Writtle, on February 1.
The resident of Melbourne Avenue, Chelmsford, was driving a silver Citroen Xsara when it crashed with a Volkswagen Caddy at about 6.45pm.
The road was closed for about five hours following the collision.
