A teenager who has been charged with attempted rape is due in court next week.
The 17-year-old from Ongar was arrested in connection with the alleged attempted rape of a woman in her 30s in Chelmsford in March last year.
He answered police bail and was charged on February 5.
He has again been released on bail and is due to appear at Chelmsford Youth Court on February 22.
