More than 50 firefighters tackled a blaze on an industrial estate overnight.
London Fire Brigade battled the blaze at an industrial estate in Harbet Road, Chingford, for five hours after being called at 2.40am.
They found a large pile of scrap wood alight, and around half of it was destroyed by the time 58 firefighters and eight engines brought the blaze under control by 7.40am.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Fire crews remain on scene to damp down hotspots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
