North Weald Golf Club is offering newcomers the chance to get into the game, with tuition for as little as £2.

With new funding from Active Essex, the club is now able to give top tips to beginners, in classes which will be run by a PGA professional.

The first session, for over 16’s will be on Saturday February 23, from 4-5pm and the second, for 11-16 year-olds will be held on Monday February 25, from 5-6pm.

Golfing basics including full swing, chipping, putting, pitching and bunker play will be taught, and all equipment will be provided.
