A march to mark International Women’s Day is set to take place next month.

Men, women and children are invited to join the walk, which will start in Walthamstow Town Square on Friday, March 8, and which is part of the global event celebrating women and calling for an end to violence against them.

Anyone who wants to take part is advised to bring lanterns to light their way as people march down the length of High Street, Walthamstow, along Coppermill Lane and all the way to Walthamstow Marshes from 7pm until 9pm.
